Er bestaat een breed gamma aan RTD met elk hun eigen \u03b1-co\u00ebffici\u00ebnten en ohm-waarden bij 0\u00b0C die worden gepreciseerd door hun technische kenmerken. De RTD die het vaakst wordt gebruikt is de RTD met een \u03b1-co\u00ebffici\u00ebnt van 0.00385 en een ohm-waarde bij 0\u00b0C van 100 \u03a9.
